White smoke test pellets, 6 pieces (DZ830), odourless, 15 m³ of smoke per pellet, for testing leaks and draught in flues, ventilation and drains. A pellet burns for about 60 seconds. The white smoke shows where the air goes. Supplied to order, about 1 week.

Put the pellet in the stove, the fireplace or near the opening of the flue and light it as the instructions say. Then watch where the smoke goes. If smoke comes out of a joint or a connection, there is a leak there. If the smoke comes back into the room, the draught is not right. Make sure there is good ventilation.

When do I do a smoke test? For example before the heating season or after sweeping.

Does the smoke smell? No, the smoke is white and odourless.
