A Kutzner + Weber chimney fan on top of the chimney gives draught where it falls short: when lighting, in wind or with an open fireplace. A chimney that is too short or too narrow draws again with it. Ventichim supplies the Diajekt, Diajekt S, Injekt and AirSpeedy with all adapters, mounting plates and controllers, for flues from ø100 to ø350.
The fan draws the flue gases out at the top of the flue and keeps a steady negative pressure. The motor sits outside the flue gases, so it can be switched on and off: when it stands still, the passage stays open. All units are stainless steel and run on 230 V.

How to order a complete set
- Fan: choose the size from the table. For an open fireplace, send us the width and height of the opening and the flue diameter.
- Mounting: on a stainless steel flue or twin wall chimney an insertion adapter RSD-A (first number = fan, second = flue). On a masonry chimney head a square mounting plate RSD-QP.
- Control: a controller near the fireplace (5 steps or stepless) and a maintenance switch RSD-WS at the fan. For a constant negative pressure on boilers: the CFC 10 control.
- Extras: a vibration damper against noise in the chimney and a rain collar.
Frequently asked questions
Does a chimney fan have to run all the time?
No. On a stove you switch it on when lighting and when adding wood. On an open fireplace it runs as long as the fire burns. When it stands still, the flue stays open.
Can a chimney be shorter with a chimney fan?
Yes, the fan supplies the draught the height would otherwise give. The outlet must still clear the roof and nearby buildings, or the wind pushes the smoke back.
What is needed electrically?
A 230 V supply up to the fan, connected by an electrician. If the power cannot be cut safely in another way, a maintenance switch RSD-WS at the fan is required.
What is the difference between the Diajekt and the Diajekt S?
The Diajekt S (Silence) is quieter but less powerful: the RSD 250 S reaches 459 m³/h and 40 Pa, the RSD 250 reaches 1,362 m³/h and 131 Pa. For an open wood fire, choose the standard Diajekt.
What is the lead time?
The chimney fans and accessories are supplied to order, with a lead time of 3 to 4 weeks.
