SnapLok specialist heads tackle what an ordinary whip head cannot shift: hard tar, birds' nests, blockages and old clay liners that need to come out of a flue. They fit the large SnapLok connection on 12 to 22 mm rods.

  • Glazed soot and tar: CBL cable loop in clay liners and brick flues, CHW12 chain whip (optionally with the CHWDBL) for hard tar.
  • Bird's nest: CW cable nest whip with stainless steel cables, or the NBA6 or NB04 nest buster with a Scrub Shaft behind it.
  • Blockage or cement snots: WC25 and WC35 flat chisels, CC2 circular chisel; RTN5 retrieval tool to recover a lost brush or rod by hand.
  • Breaking an old clay liner: TB4X4 liner breaker or the heavy duty TBHHPRO, ideally from the top down.

Safety: carry out a camera inspection first. Never use chain whips, cable loops or cable nest whips in steel or flexible liners. Chisels and liner breakers only on 18 mm rods or heavier, the TBHHPRO only on 20 mm or steel rods. Only remove nests outside the breeding season. Ventichim distributes SnapLok in Belgium.
