Shaft cover plate with storm collar ø80
Stainless steel shaft cover plate with storm collar for the IE single-wall flue system, from Ø80 to Ø400, closing the top of a brick or prefab chimney shaft.
The plate covers the top of a chimney shaft or a surface-mounted shaft. A storm collar is fitted on the plate, around the opening for the flue pipe. It guides rainwater around the pipe so it does not seep down along the pipe. One part gives you a tidy finish of the shaft opening and a watertight flue passage. The plate is often used with condensing boilers and in flue renovations, where a new pipe runs through an existing chimney.
Choose the diameter of the flue pipe that passes through the plate: Ø80, Ø100, Ø110, Ø130, Ø150, Ø180, Ø200, Ø250, Ø300, Ø350 or Ø400. The item code follows that size, from IESAD080 to IESAD400. Before ordering, check that the plate covers the full top of your shaft.
Do I need to order a separate storm collar? No, the storm collar is already fitted on the plate.
What is the difference with a loose storm collar? A loose storm collar goes around the pipe, above a roof flashing or an existing cover. This plate also closes off the shaft itself.
Which shafts does the plate fit? Brick and prefab chimney shafts and surface-mounted shafts. If you are unsure about the outside dimensions of your shaft, ask us which plate fits.
