Reducer ø180 male ø80 female with seal

Stainless steel 316L reducer for the IE single-wall flue system, from a larger to a smaller diameter between Ø300 and Ø50, with seal and spigot/socket ends.

A reducer connects a flue pipe with a larger diameter to a pipe with a smaller diameter, for example a Ø130 flue onto a Ø110 connection. This mostly happens when an existing chimney is adapted or renovated. The male end (spigot) has the large diameter, the female end (socket) the small one. Every reducer has a seal and is flue gas tight under positive pressure P1 (200 Pa). You can fit it horizontally or vertically, on flues of condensing boilers, pellet stoves, wood stoves and other combustion appliances.

The code gives both sizes: IEVK150110 is Ø150 male to Ø110 female. Two codes are shorter, IEVK0806 (Ø80 to Ø60) and IEVK06050 (Ø60 to Ø50).

Reducer or increaser, which one do I need? On a reducer the male end is the large diameter and the female end the small one. On the IE series increaser it is the other way round: small spigot, large socket. So check which end has to fit into which size.

Is the seal included? Yes, all reducers in this group come with a seal.

Can the reducer be used in a positive pressure flue? Yes, with the seal the joint is flue gas tight up to 200 Pa (P1).
