Pulling hood ø250
Stainless steel 316L draught cap, 0.5 mm, for the IE single-wall flue system, from Ø80 to Ø400, improving the draught and preventing smoke from blowing back.
The draught cap goes on top of the last single-wall stainless steel pipe, as the end finish of the chimney. It is made to give a stable, natural draught in the flue and to prevent smoke or combustion gases from blowing back, also in wind and under negative pressure. The open design lets the flue gases escape freely. You use it on flues of wood stoves, pellet stoves, open fireplaces, central heating boilers and other combustion appliances, in new builds and renovations.
The cap comes in Ø80, Ø100, Ø110, Ø130, Ø150, Ø180, Ø200, Ø250, Ø300, Ø350 and Ø400. The item code follows the size, from IEK080 to IEK400.
When do I choose a draught cap? When smoke blows back into the chimney in windy weather, or when you want better draught in a single-wall flue.
Draught cap or rain cap? The rain cap mainly stops rain, snow and leaves. The draught cap is there to improve the draught and prevent backdraught.
How thick is the stainless steel? The cap is made of 316L stainless steel, 0.5 mm thick.
