Protective tube for chimney rods, 70 cm

70 cm protective tube for 12 and 17 mm chimney rods, which protects the rods when you sweep a chimney from the bottom up. The tube keeps the rods off the edge of the stove opening or the soot door. Supplied to order, about 1 week.

You need it when you sweep from the bottom, through the stove or the soot door. It is for the rods DZ101 to DZ105 (17 mm) and DZ201 to DZ203 (12 mm). The kits DZ100 and DZ200 do not contain it. Also cover the floor with the floor sheet DZ194.

Why a protective tube? The rods rub against the edge of the appliance opening, and the tube stops that.

Do I need a different tube for 12 and 17 mm? No, DZ193 is the same tube for both sizes.

Do I also need it when I sweep from the top? The tube is made for sweeping from the bottom up. From the top you leave it out.
